Day 17: More playing

Playgrounds and swimming in the Deschutes River....

Ruth's favorite thing about this area is the sunset glow so the two of us took a sunset walk. 

Amazing. And did you know how big the big dipper actually is? Oh my.

Day 16: Playgrounds

I don't really know what happened to Day 15 - but if I remember or find evidence, I will let you know all about our recovery day.

We started the day with a walk to the playground - Papa Dan took some time to teach Bear how to identify different trees.

Gusty continued picking every flower that crossed his path.

Grandma Ruth tried to teach Gusty how to pump his legs for swinging.

We ran to the grocery store, etc. Nearby, there is a reindeer farm that we have been gawking at from the road (instead of paying to drive into the parking lot to gawk).

Not much to report today. That is nice too.
